PublicInput — Product Story Video
What story does a software company on a mission to make democracy more collaborative through technology need to tell? It needs to be aspirational, but also practical: showing the product is easy to use for government staff.
Collaborated on concept with PublicInput CEO, wrote script, and finalized storyboard in finalized storyboard with animation studio, DASH Studios.
TransPerferct — “On Location: Barcelona”
Client: DASH Studios
Usage: Storytelling, recruiting
The work: One of three videos for TransPerfect, subcontracted by DASH Studios.
Starting with a blank page and interview transcripts, I composed a cohesive story about life in the Barcelona office of TransPerfect. Pitched b-roll opportunities, shots, and transitions for the look/feel of the video.
UNC-Greensboro — “Rewriting History” Campaign
Client: DASH Studios
Usage: On-site storytelling, education
The work: A campaign of four videos explaining the life and legacy of Charles Aycock - the namesake of their campus auditorium - and why his white supremacy was whitewashed by history. UNC-G went on to rename their auditorium, using these videos in the public campaign.
Wrote all A/V script, including creative direction on visuals, shots, and transitions.

Usage: Local radio (Columbia, SC market)
The work: Two tongue-in-cheek radio spots for Bottle Beverage Superstore. First spot was a new location announcement (:30), the second for St. Patricks Day (:15).
Professional Photographers of America — “See The Difference Campaign”
Client: The Watauga Group
Usage: Integrated Strategic Campaign
The work: What happens when smart phones disrupt the professional photography industry? You have to show people the difference — and make it fun. In coordination with “style quizzes” I wrote A/V scripts for the “See The Difference” campaign which targeted family, bridal, and senior portraits. This included dictating all images and visuals, along with pitches for transitions.
